Our approach
We create original planning guides and organize links to useful resources. The Texas Film Commission and regional film offices remain the sources for their own programs, directories, and procedures. Film in Texas is not a government website and is not affiliated with or endorsed by those offices.
Sources & freshness
The resource links and official program pages were reviewed October 25, 2026. External directories and opportunities may change. Our links do not imply live synchronization or verification of each third-party listing. Follow the original source and contact the relevant office for current details.
Advertising & editorial independence
Film in Texas advertisers are LED Sign Connect TX, 3G Films, Chicago Custom Tailor Shop, Rockstarr Media, and Jerry’s Couches. 3G Films shares ownership with Film in Texas. Advertiser recognition is separate from our independent editorial guides. Business descriptions are based on their linked websites; confirm services and availability directly with each business. Paid business profiles, advertising placements, and display ads are identified as advertising or sponsored content. Payment will not determine the substance of our editorial guides or imply endorsement.
Images
The homepage landscape is an original AI-generated illustration by Efrain-Abran Gutierrez Jr., inspired by his work in West Texas. It does not document a specific filming location, available property, or actual production. We use all the tools to get it right.
Privacy in this edition
The shoot checklist and saved resources store your selections in your browser. Reset the checklist, remove saved items with their save buttons, or clear browser storage to remove this information. When you submit an advertising inquiry, your contact and campaign details are sent to info@filmintexas.com through Resend, our email delivery provider, so we can respond. Inquiry details are stored in a private sales database so Film in Texas can track the request, notes, and follow-up. Resend processes the email notification under its own privacy policy. This edition has no newsletter signup, payment processing, analytics tags, or third-party ad-network scripts. Advertiser links open the companies’ own websites.
Pages request fonts from Google Fonts and may use hosting-level security or access controls. Following an external link takes you to another website with its own policies. We use inquiry details to respond to and manage your advertising request. To request correction or removal of your inquiry details, email info@filmintexas.com. If these practices change, this notice will be updated.
